Organic Gardening
It has become very popular among home gardeners these days. Organic
gardens are the way to go, there is no poisons being sprayed on
your plants or vegetables. The poison will eventually find there
way into our stomachs. After all "we are what we eat".
Growing organic eliminates the need for chemical herbicides and
pesticides. Amateur gardeners feel that it is just something that
needs to be done to the garden. In fact most gardens don't even
need them. Weeds for example, nothing is simpler than just pulling
them out when they are young. And by the time your garden has grown,
they will overpower the weeds.
Pests on the other hand are a little more difficult than just pulling
them out. Most gardens have little to no problem with pests. Just
because you see a few insects flying around or landing on your plants
doesn't mean you have a problem.
All garden pests have there own enemies (not just us gardeners)
but natural enemies such as snakes toads and birds. If you do seem
to have pest problem there are natural ways of controlling pests,
such as a soap and water mix sprayed on the plants.
