Growing Peppers

Peppers are one of the most popular vegetables for gardeners to grow. It is fairly easy and there are many different varieties to choose from. They have many uses, they can be used in salads, soup, stews, chili and can be stuffed. There are Green , Yellow, Orange and Red Peppers. Types include Bell , Hot and Chili.

 

 

The plants can be started from seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside. Plant outside 2-3 weeks after last frost. Plant them 10-14 inches apart. Be sure to water your pepper plants everyday for the first two weeks. They can be grown in gardens or even in containers.
